Pretties

I'm still very determined to finally get to reply to your comments and pay you a visit...

Meanwhile, here's something pinteresting. From the few images I've pinned so far, the most popular are the two I wasn't actually even sure about pinning:

Ta-da... Miss "Beach Bunny" and "Victoria's Secret angel".
Have got to join a gym.
P.S. Sundays should be 48h.

Il fait kind of froid

Well, I'm very late with the news (as March is behind the corner) but... winter has arrived!

Ukraine has been all over European channels with its "below zero" temperatures.

To tell the truth, I don't see what's wrong with the temperature being below zero in winter. And since when -20 comes as a shock in our region?

10 cm of snow don't make anyone panic and schools don't close. Well, unless it's colder... Like -30... which it's supposed to be -30 this weekend...

Here are some impressive icicles from our little town (oh yes, I've moved in with DBF and changed my life dramatically).

Hope you're warm and cozy wherever you are:)

Ma Belle, or The Eiffel Tower

However disappointing it might sound to some, I don't think Paris exactly stole my heart. Maybe it's because of tourists, tourists, tourists e-v-e-r-y-w-h-e-r-e... or maybe it's just that I had given it to cheri N.'s motherland the week before.

Nevertheless, Paris has a special place in my heart. As well as "Ma Belle", or The Eiffel Tower. Liking it seems to be almost a sin and is looked down at by many locals who don't see any beauty in the metal thing.
To tell the truth, I didn't expect to feel any "tower effect" but I did, I did... for I am a sinner:P

There is a magical charm to the tower. And it's everywhere you go, as you can see...

Can you see? Can you see its charm? lol

Other T13 participants are right here.

My Life in France

Almost a month after coming back from France, I no longer experience any leftovers of what I think was a culture shock. It's the other way around.

Reading "My Life in France" by Julia Child, I'm having flashbacks of our wonderful vacation. Of course, post-war Paris and Paris 2012 are not at all the same. Yet, recognizing some places, store names and dishes makes me oh-so-happy and excited.

Oh, Paris...

More pictures are on the way...
